“We chose to take it both ways to Skagway and it was awesome. The Captains and deck hands were the very best, helpful, knowledgeable and so full of customer service. This is the only way to go back and forth to Skagway. We saw lots of wildlife and the captain took his time on both trips to show and stop for photo shoots without any hesitation. Great trip and will always do this in the future.”

“Fabulous well worth the money”This trip, we started in Haines, was fabulous. They are professional, talented, and fun! We saw amazing sights like a sea lion rookery (we were lucky enough to see two bulls mix it up), whales dolphins, bear, whales, more whales. The bus picked us up took us into Juneau, the sights along the way were amazing! Once we were picked back up in Juneau we went to the glacier and spent some time there.  The chowder on the way back was yummy!

Tayia Point Seal Stop on the Fjord Express to Juneau

Wonderful day of cruising the inside passage to Juneau. Sightings of humpback whales, porpoises, sea birds, eagles, salmon jumping! Informative and kind staff, took great care of everyone aboard. Delicious snacks of muffins, fruit, smoked salmon chowder and cookies! Stop in downtown Juneau and the Mendenhall Glacier an added bonus. This was my second trip with Fjord Express and I would do it again anytime. Image by Ron Horn

“More than Just a Boat Ride” Fjord Express to Juneau.

“What a great experience! Having traveled up to Skagway by RV, we wanted to see some of the fabled inside passage and take a trip to Juneau as well. What a great way to do it! While there’s plenty already on the itinerary, the captain gives you lots of opportunities to see wildlife on the way down and back. We saw humpback whales, stellar sea lions and bald eagles galore! We also saw numerous glaciers on the way down. After a nice lunch in Juneau and a trip to the State Museum on our own time, the trip to the Mendenhall Glacier was another treat. And, we all loved the smoked salmon chowder on the way home. Family owned and run. Absolutely worth it.”

Thumbs Way Up on this Trip! Fjord Express to Juneau.

A beautiful day on the water hosted by Glen and Libby. Loved their commentary and personal responses to any of our questions. It was great to learn about this family run business and we enjoyed looking through the photo albums. We spent 3 days in Skagway doing pretty much all there was to do and this trip was one of the highlights. Even the food was fantastic. Great value for the money with lots of whale and seal sightings. The side tour to the Mendenhall Glacier was another highlight.

“A Great Adventure” The Fjord Express to Haines, Skagway and Juneau!

A Great Adventure!”   If you are doing a road trip and not on a cruise in AK, this opportunity should not be missed. It is worth the price and then some. The captain is very knowledgeable and entertaining. You will learn a lot if you listen to him. The sightseeing in Juneau is great-especially the Mendenhall Glacier. Check out the Red Dog Saloon in Juneau.     Visited September 2016
