Where does the boat depart in Skagway?
The Fjordland departs Skagway from the end of the last float at the Small Boat Harbor (295 Congress Way). DO NOT GO TO THE ALASKA STATE FERRY TERMINAL! To get to the harbor, drive through Skagway and turn onto 2nd Avenue. Go past the White Pass RR depot over the tracks and the road will turn onto Congress Way. Go past Pullen Creek and RV Park, then turn right into the harbor parking lot at the north end of the harbor. If you take the blue ramp closest to the waterfront and walk all the way down the float, you should see our sign.
Where does the boat depart in Haines?
The Fjordland departs from Haines from the Small Boat Harbor (32 Front Street). DO NOT GO TO THE ALASKA STATE FERRY TERMINAL! Check in at the office between 8am-8:15am or 8:15am at the top of the ramp at the harbormaster’s office (the little cabin with the brown tin roof). The office person will walk you down to the boat when it arrives at 8:30am.
